Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a white marble with an open calcite structure that is especially susceptible to staining. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer before installation and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. In lower-traffic dry areas, resealing every 1–2 years is sufficient.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus, grout haze removers) and alkaline degreasers, as they will etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills — especially wine, coffee, and citrus juice — immediately to prevent staining and etching.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through showing on this pale stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and prevent lippage on the large-format tiles. Use a 1/16" to 1/8" grout joint with a non-sanded or fine-sanded white grout. Dry-lay tiles before installation to select and blend vein patterns for the most aesthetically pleasing arrangement.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
