Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a porous white marble that should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply sealer every 6–12 months to protect against moisture intrusion and staining. The honed finish is more absorbent than polished, making diligent sealing especially critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and permanently dull the honed surface. Wipe spills immediately, particularly oils, wine, and coffee, which can penetrate unsealed marble rapidly. For grout joints, use a soft-bristle brush with pH-neutral solution only.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through on this bright white stone. Install using non-sanded grout for the narrow joints typical of mosaic chips. Align mesh sheets carefully on a flat, level substrate, pressing each sheet firmly with a grout float or rubber mallet to ensure full contact. Back-butter individual chips around edges or recesses as needed for full coverage and bond strength.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
