Sealing: Calacatta Gold is a light, porous marble that requires sealing before grouting and regular maintenance sealing every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers. Apply a high-quality penetrating stone sealer and wipe away any excess within the manufacturer's recommended dwell time. Given the pale white background, diligent sealing is especially critical to prevent staining from hard water, soap, and oils.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline household cleaners, as these will etch and dull the polished surface permanently. Blot spills immediately, especially oils, coffee, and wine, to prevent absorption into the stone. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the high-polish finish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey adhesive from telegraphing through the translucent white stone. Lay sheets with consistent joint spacing and align the mesh edges carefully for a seamless diamond repeat across the field.
