Sealing: Bianco Dolomite is a relatively porous white marble that should be sealed before grouting and regularly maintained. Apply a penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and backsplashes — more frequently if the surface sees daily water exposure. Consistent sealing is especially important for pale white marbles to prevent staining.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid all acidic or alkaline products — including vinegar, lemon-based cleaners, bleach, and ammonia — as they will etch the polished surface and dull its natural sheen. Wipe up spills, especially oils and acidic liquids, immediately to prevent staining or etching.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through on this bright white marble. For the small grout joints typical of arabesque mosaics, use non-sanded (unsanded) grout in a white or light grey tone. Align mesh sheets carefully during installation to maintain consistent joint spacing; press sheets firmly and evenly to ensure full coverage behind each chip. Back-butter individual chips if needed for complete adhesion.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
